{"id":1266,"date":"2026-05-24T22:46:00","date_gmt":"2026-05-24T17:46:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sadaesach.com\/en\/?p=1266"},"modified":"2026-05-24T22:46:00","modified_gmt":"2026-05-24T17:46:00","slug":"south-air-ready-to-launch-regional-flight-operations-connecting-regions-of-pakistan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sadaesach.com\/en\/south-air-ready-to-launch-regional-flight-operations-connecting-regions-of-pakistan\/","title":{"rendered":"South Air ready to launch regional flight operations, connecting regions of pakistan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Islamabad: A new regional airline, South Air has announced that it is fully prepared to begin operations aimed at connecting underserved regions of Pakistan including Balochistan, South Punjab and Interior Sindh with the national air network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Addressing a press briefing, South Air&#8217;s CEO Nishat Fatima and spokesperson Air Vice Marshal Ejaz Mehmood Malik said the airline has completed all operational, technical and administrative preparations under the management of the Multan-based SOS Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They said two modern South Air aircraft have been stationed at Karachi Airport for several weeks, while two more aircraft from France are awaiting final clearance from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"607\" src=\"https:\/\/sadaesach.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/South-Air-Press-Briefing-4-1024x607.jpeg\" alt=\"South Air Press Briefing\" class=\"wp-image-1269\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sadaesach.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/South-Air-Press-Briefing-4-1024x607.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/sadaesach.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/South-Air-Press-Briefing-4-300x178.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/sadaesach.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/South-Air-Press-Briefing-4-768x455.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/sadaesach.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/South-Air-Press-Briefing-4.jpeg 1288w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the management, the airline has fulfilled all regulatory requirements and made investments worth crores of rupees. However, delays in approvals are causing continuous financial losses due to aircraft parking charges, lease payments, staff salaries and other operational expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The officials said South Air plans to launch air connectivity for Gwadar, Turbat and Panjgur, linking them with major cities across Pakistan. Daily flights for Sehwan Sharif and Dera Ismail Khan are also planned as part of the airline\u2019s regional expansion strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The briefing emphasized that new airlines contribute to increased competition, employment opportunities, tourism, trade and improved public facilities.
