Fateh Jang: A Lahore-based businesswoman, Ms. Shaheen Khalid, wife of Khalid Sultan, has lodged FIR No. 797/25 at Police Station Fateh Jang, alleging that influential individuals Sardar Ghazanfar Ali and his son Umair Haider Ghazanfar fraudulently took possession of her petrol station through deceit and forged documents.

According to the complainant, she has been engaged in the petroleum business for many years and owned the Fatehpur Fuel Gas Station. She stated that she had included Sardar Ghazanfar Ali in her business as an agent, but the accused, in collusion with his son, manipulated records, fabricated agreements, and fraudulently transferred ownership of the petrol pump to their names.

FIR Of Petrol Pump

Shaheen Khalid further claimed that the accused showed a fictitious payment of Rs. 41 million to unlawfully seize the station, while the actual ownership and tax record still prove her as the legitimate owner. She stated that the accused took undue advantage of her trust and access to confidential business records, with several witnesses aware of the deception.

Police have registered the case under Sections 409 (Criminal Breach of Trust), 420 (Cheating), 467, 468, and 471 (Forgery and Use of Forged Documents) of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and have started investigation.

Investigation Team Fir No 797-25 PS Fatehjang

Sources confirmed that the “Fatehpur Fuel Gas Station” has been registered under Ms. Shaheen Khalid’s name since 2009 and was regularly declared in tax returns. The accused later prepared fake agreements and manipulated official documents to unlawfully transfer possession.

Initial investigation also verifies that bank records, NTN registration, and sales tax invoices support the complainant’s ownership claim. Police have called for additional business and financial records to examine all aspects of the alleged forgery and fraud.

Local residents and business circles have expressed deep concern over the incident, terming it a serious blow to businesswomen’s security and confidence. They questioned how ordinary citizens could feel safe if a well-educated woman entrepreneur could be defrauded in such a manner.

Public and business forums have urged the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to ensure that the inquiry is conducted on merit and that the accused persons are booked strictly in accordance with law.

They also called for strong action by the Police and FIA to curb such fraudulent practices and to protect the rights of legitimate business owners, especially women entrepreneurs.
